VisionKids

An fun and interactive Children’s Ministry for K-6 that meets during our 10 AM worship celebration. Through VisionKids, children experience the Bible for themselves through theater, art, stories and creativity.  Children join us for the beginning of worship, and then go to their workshops after our opening time of praise and prayer.

Our children are a vital part of our Sunday morning experience. At Vision, we believe that by the time a child comes to our church they have already met God and God is already at work in their lives. Our responsibility as a church family is to listen to them and guide them in discovering their spiritual selves while exploring our understanding of the story of God through the ancient stories of Scripture.

In VisionKids, your child can become a part of God’s story.  Here, children do not just hear the stories of the Bible, they enter them, become part of them and express themselves through them.  On Easter, they explored an empty tomb and met an angel.  In the past, they have recreated DaVinci”s Last Supper, encountered a talking burning bush, interviewed Zaccheus and creative television commercials for their own imaginary products.  Your child will learn in the way their generation is used to learning.  Each workshop focuses on a different sensory experience as well as incorporating the different learning styles.  The bible story is explored in depth over a 3-week period.  Children rotate through our workshops in order to experience the story through a variety of senses.
